Who Are We?

The aim of the AGU Career and Professional Development Center is to provide the professional support that AGU students and graduates need in their career management and job search processes and to support their development. In this context, our goals are;
•   To help our students/graduates make the right choice between education and career options.
•   To help our students/graduates increase their self-awareness, understand their skills, values ​​and interests.
•   To ensure that our students/graduates have realistic perceptions about their career and working life.

Our Strategic Goals

• Bringing our students and graduates together with managers from different sectors from the business world, and holding Career Talks Seminars, where business people interactively share their experiences with students, to contribute to the personal and professional development of students by gaining an idea about the business world before they graduate.

• Contributing to the employment processes by evaluating the CVs they have prepared one-on-one with the students, as well as the CV and interview trainings, and by conducting a preliminary interview before the interviews.

• Through the Talent Gate Platform created by the Presidential Human Resources Office; Students and Alumni; By creating their profiles and uploading their CVs, they have the opportunity to give direct information to employers about themselves. They can examine career fairs / events announced by career centers and / or employers and related trainings and apply. They can examine the profiles of the employers / career opportunities they offer, access the published job / internship advertisements more effectively through the system, and apply. In addition, they can make an appointment with career counselors at career centers and communicate with universities and employers.

Employers; With the company profile they will create, they can inform students about their companies and the career opportunities they provide. They can directly announce job / internship announcements to students / graduates, receive applications and return them through the system. They can participate in career events organized by the university, as well as send their own planned events and trainings to students / graduates and receive applications. They can communicate directly with university career centers and students / alumni.

Career Center; They can understand and follow the career status of their students, the communication between students and employers, the expectations and demands of companies, and stay in touch with students / graduates and employers. They can inform students about career events or trainings to be carried out by different departments of the university or employers and ensure their participation. They can make the planning for Career Counseling services through the system and follow up on the counseling requests and the details of the counseling process. When they want to reach students and graduates, they can communicate collectively or individually by determining a target audience. In this way, equal opportunities, job and internship employment are provided for university students.
